This husband & wife team have owned and managed PoCoVisionCare since 1994 and have become well known for their personable, honest approach to reliable, thorough, primary eye care, including eye exams, glasses and contact lenses. Also important, they keep up to date with current knowledge and technology.

  • Member of British Columbia Association of Optometrists & Canadian Association of Optometrists
  • Purchased PoCoVisionCare in 1994, in partnership with Dr. Jennings.
  • Practices primary care optometry, with a special interest in Vision Shaping.
Debra Jennings
Dr. Deborah Jennings

  • Doctor of Optometry, University of Waterloo, 1992.
  • Member of British Columbia Association of Optometrists & Canadian Association of Optometrists.
  • Purchased PoCoVisionCare in 1994, in partnership with Dr. Hughes.
  • Practices primary care optometry, with a special interest in pediatrics.

  • Licensed by the BC College of Opticians.
  • Joined us in 1996.
  • Background in optical manufacturing and processing.
  • Brings plenty of spectacle lens knowledge, and comical relief.

Signe (Sheena)

  • Has an Optician and Contact Lens Fitting diploma from Douglas College.
  • Joined us in 1998.
  • Is actually from PoCo.
  • Specializes in fashion frame selection and your personal optical needs.
